Movie Review - "Rocket Science" Demonstrates That Life Is Anything But an Exact Science
by
Erik Sean McGiven
A touching heartfelt drama, "Rocket Science" demonstrates that life is anything but an exact science. This edgy film, with its witty writing and thoughtful theme, celebrates the determination of a high school student trying to overcome his speech impediment.

'Pitch Perfect' Movie Review
by
Crista White
In the world of movies that are based on books, here's one you wouldn't expect to find on that list: a story about competitive collegiate a cappella groups. Thinking that concept doesn't translate into entertainment? You couldn't be more wrong.

Up in the Air - Movie

Dan Stevens
This is an interesting drama starring the stalwart George Clooney (Ocean's eleven) as Ryan Bingham, whose job is to fire individuals from organisations who have designated Ryan and his company to do this on their behalf. As Ryan gets to travel all over the world he has accumulated a lot of air miles to the point that he gets special reservations, and an assortment of cards entitling him to various incentives due to his air miles accumulation. Ryan tries to be as sympathetic but yet firm as he tells employees that they have been let go, but his boss...

Jaskee Hickman
Officer Taylor (Jake Gyllenhaal) and Officer Zavala (Michael Peña) patrol some of Los Angeles' toughest streets as they go face to face with dangerous gangs who are heavily involved in drugs, money and guns. They're two young and charismatic guys who work well together and put their all into their profession every time out. As they face these tough streets one day at a time, they also have to balance their family lives. Of course, this is all in a day's work for your average office, but it gets more difficult for these two once they run into some trouble with a Mexican drug cartel.

Use Wireless Internet to Increase Communication Among Employees
by
Jason Tandle
Last year's hit movie Up in the Air featuring George Clooney and the up and coming actress, Anna Kendrick hit on a major ethical question about the fast paced development and use of technology. The film centers on Clooney, who has the job of being hired by businesses to lay employees off. The tone of the film was very real and perhaps hit a little too close to home as it was released in the peak of the economic recession in the United States. Clooney's character was very good at his job and while at first he seemed relatively emotionally unattached to the people he was firing, for obvious reasons of self preservation, you begin to actually see how seriously he takes his job. This comes out when he is confronted by the prospect that the fundamental way he does his job could change drastically because of a new idea thought up by an eager new intern, Kendrick's character.
