The Difference Between Walking in the Park or Running Through it
by
Lance Winslow
Many people like to take a walk in the park and enjoy the fresh air and smell the flowers. They believe that they can relax, clear their minds and get into deeper thought and reflect on life. Stop and smell the roses if you will. That sure sounds wonderful, beautiful and peaceful.

Movies In the Park: A Money-Saving Movie Experience
by
Paul B Murray
As summer approaches you might be looking for money saving ways to have fun and entertain your family. Fortunately, cutting back on spending does not have to mean missing out on fun. In many towns there are plenty of cheap or free summer activities available such as outdoor movies in the park events.

You Humans Are Already Occupying the Entire Earth - What's the Deal With the Park?
by
Lance Winslow
Indeed, I'm sorry and I don't mean to offend anyone who is an activist who really believes that we need to stop certain things in the United States like crony capitalism and what have you. In fact, I do believe those are important issues, however this laundry list of the occupy protesters seems to irk me a little bit. In fact, just the other day I was asking a friend; "what the hell is the deal with this "occupy the park" posse?

The Meek Shall Not Inherit the Park
by
Lance Winslow
What is that famous biblical line; "the meek shall inherit the earth," but apparently the meek will not inherit any city parks in the United States, as most of the mayors have been throwing out the occupy protesters around the country. The other day, I was at Starbucks and I mentioned to someone that I didn't understand why the occupiers wish to occupy the park, because humans, that is to say that 99 percentile, already occupy most of Earth, therefore I asked; what's the deal with the park? You see, for a species which has populated most of...

Why Students Are Now Occupying the Colleges Instead of the Parks?
by
Lance Winslow
Students think they are so smart protesting sometimes, it just blows me away, especially considering that these kids are soaking up government services at an enormous rate, and they are 3-times more likely to default on their student loans, than the given individual on their mortgage. Meanwhile, all of us tax payers and producers working our butts off are busy paying the taxes that will inevitably cover those defaulted loans. Yes, these rebellious youth, who've been given so much, and are so thankless, now wish to throw it back in our face, as goes the quote; "no good...

Why Not Hold Your University in the Park - What's The Big Idea With All Those Buildings?
by
Lance Winslow
The other day I read a horrible article in our local paper, it stated that the university here locally was going to cut out their medical program and degrees, and transfer those to another University. I thought that was unfortunate, but it was a necessary budget cut they said. One thing I didn't understand is that they just built a brand-new campus, and now they are cutting out the number of classes and degree programs.

Occupy Protestors Angry As Homeless Show Up for Free Food in the Park
by
Lance Winslow
Sometimes the hypocrisy just overwhelms the observer. For instance consider the occupy protests in New York City. I was reading one blog where protesters were angry because homeless people from all over New York City came to the park and got in line for free food that was set up for the protesters, not just to feed anyone who came by that was not part of the protest but food for those involved.
