Bree Walker
The Short Second Life of Bree Walker By Stephanie Meyer
by
Tina Schwartz-Miller
When her first-ever novel, "Twilight" was being turned into a movie, author Stephanie Meyer wanted to be involved and available to the film's director, Catherine Hardwicke (who was unceremoniously dumped for the subsequent films). Meyers decided she wanted to give British actor Robert Pattinson a great understanding and feel for his character and started to "re-write" Twilight, but this time, instead of from Bella's point-of-view, it was from Edward's. As Meyers began to write and write, she realized she had another potentially fascinating story to share.

One-Week Frenzy Forecast
by
Kyle J Smith
Five weeks into the season, there are clears haves and have-nots. That was made especially evident last week, when six of the 14 games played saw the winning teams conquer by at least 19 points. Week 6 of the season should be a bit more competitive, and ultimately a bit more enjoyable for football fans.

2011 NFL Pre-Draft Team Capsules
by
John Lecci
Even with "Superman" at QB, the Colts were overachievers last season due to injuries, finishing at 10-6 and losing a tough one to the Jets in the 1st round of the NFL playoffs. When looking at this franchise, they are all about outscoring their opponent.

NFL Preview 2006
by
Gale Scheelar
Is this the year of the Colts? That is what everyone is asking and it is clearly a wait and see situation. They still have Manning and Harrison but they have to find a strong replacement for Edgerrin James who opted to go to Arizona. Coach Dungy is clearly a leader in his field but every playoff the Colts find a way to choke-whether it be to the Patriots or the Steelers-makes no difference. In 2005 the Colts won 13 straight out of the gate-then lost to San Diego-then the terrible tragedy that happened in the Dungy family. We will never know if emotions of pain so deep cost the Colts the rest of the season but it is what it is and life goes on. As a parent of 6 children and 2 step-children I can not fathom losing a child and clearly my work would be affected for a very long time. The Colts have always been a favorite of mine and I would love to see them in the Super Bowl this year. Go Colts!
