Around the English Premier League - Round 36
by
Camilla Mancini
The Manchester derby gave us 90 minutes of thrilling football that ended up returning City to the Premier's throne with a single goal from Kompany. Tottenham is back on the fourth position, thanks to its triumph against Blackburn and of course to Wigan, which put a stop to the Toons. However the Spurs are still in danger, tied in points with Newcastle and followed by Chelsea one point behind.

Around the English Premier League - Round 30
by

Manchester United has reached its third week at the head of the Premier League and with its triumph at home has open up a bit more the gap between it and City. On Saturday Manchester City visited Britannia Stadium to meet with Stoke City for their away match and after a pretty plain first half they finished in a 1-1 draw. Although the Sky Blues toughed it up in second half, at 59' Peter Crouch grabbed the lead for the Potters with the help of Jermaine Pennant.

Kenya Urban Safari: Adventure in Tropical City
by
Grace Matagaro Carmel
Welcome to Nairobi, Kenya's capital city, once known as a green city under the sun. Its perfect geographical location has turned it into a world's cosmopolitan with great opportunities and international interactions. Interestingly, with all the diverse opportunities that Nairobi has to offer, it is unfortunate to note that many lay terribly undiscovered.

Premier League Preview: Manchester City Vs Everton
by

Manchester City are set to host Everton at the City of Manchester on Monday, December 20. With seven games without a win, the Toffees are looking increasingly dispirited on the field. With City's solidity in defence, they will surely make a serious title bid this season, if only they can goad their goal scorers to action.

Mancini's Misery
by
Matthew P W Dixon
When Sheikh Mansour took control of Manchester City in 2009, the Blue Moon faithful finally began to believe that times of prosperity were ahead, and with the new City of Manchester Stadium in hand as well as the Sheikh's millions, there was no reason as to why Man City couldn't replicate the success that Chelsea had emulated with similar resources in the not too distant past. However, since the takeover, things haven't gone smoothly for the Eastland's side. Halfway through the Sheikh's first season as owner, Mark Hughes was deemed to be harshly sacked, with current boss, Roberto Mancini, seemingly having the appropriate blend of experience and style to bring success to the Blue side of Manchester.
