Kid Cudi Mixtapes And How They Affected His Career
by
Ari Allon
Scott Ramon Mescudi, known better to his fans by his stage name Kid Cudi, is a singer, rapper and actor. Growing up in Cleveland Ohio, with a Mexican Native American father, and an African- American mother, the passing of his father at a young age is what has had the biggest effect on both his music and personality. Like most young up-and-coming hip hop artists, Kid Cudi mixtapes helped to pave his way to fame and fortune.

Kid Cudi - Man On The Moon II: The Legend of Mr Rager Album Review
by
Vlad Iouchkov
Kid Cudi shocked audiences when, get this, his debut album - Man On The Moon: The End of Day - was actually damn good! Sadly, his sophomore Man On The Moon II: The Legend of Mr. Rager doesn't get any points for a new thematic direction, because none was chosen. Despite subtle differences, the album is just Cudder airing out his grievances once again, touching on solitude, psychosis, drugs, suicidal tendencies, the works, but with a dosage of his own recognised fame involved. There is no track that will garner the praise or popularity of his previous efforts such as Day N Nite, but disregarding the overall mess that the album is, enjoyment can still be had...at a cost of course.

Kid Cudi - Man on the Moon - The End of Day Album Review
by
Vlad Iouchkov
With his obscure lyricism, eclectic electronic beats and an electric personality, it's no wonder Cleveland native Kid Cudi (pronounced kah-dee, not koo-dee) jumped into the game and has already left footsteps crushed into its concrete. And his debut album Man on the Moon: The End of Day is exemplary of why you should wake up if you are still sleeping on him.

Julian Farino Gets Biblical
by
Mike P Jones
Julian Farino has made a name for himself directing shows that might make your church going grandmother sick to her stomach. With dozens of credits to his name for HBO hit shows like "Entourage" and "Sex in the City", its safe to say Farino has his grasp of today's 20 or 30 something sub-culture. Farino has gained a reputation for getting his audience to indulge in its secret lust for fame, fortune, and fornication.

Theophilus London - Timez Are Weird These Days Album Review
by
Vlad Iouchkov
An unnamed individual who claimed to be "THE" Hip Hop encyclopaedia and just so happened to strike up a conversation with me one recent drunken night had said "all this electro stuff has nothing to do with Hip Hop, bro, they never did that like til now and it's full lame, bro. They need to go back to rap in the 80s, man." Obviously, this articulate fellow seems to have been unaware that Hip Hop more or less birthed electro through artists of the - oh my - aforementioned 1980s, thus deeming his argument void.

Kanye West - My Dark Twisted Fantasy Review
by
Keith Clean
Kanye West is one of the most innovative artists of the past 6 years. There are only a few artist, who had such an impact like Mr. West did. From his comment about George Bush, to his infamous interruption of Taylor Swift at an award show, to his latest album: My Dark Twisted Fantasy. There isn't any other artist that has put out so much quality and quantity music, like Mr. West did in the past few years.

by
Marcus Kindle
Controversial rapper Kanye West has just released his highly anticipated 5th studio album titled "My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy". This is album is Kanye's first album since his controversial stunt involving country singing super star Taylor Swift. Kanye is known for being a little outside of the box with his music as well as being a musical genius. So the question here is, will this album live up to all of the hype surrounding it. So without further a do, here is my "My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy" review.
