Need for Speed
The Need for Speed, Acceleration, and Inertia is Innate - No Wonder Humans Think It's Great!
by
Lance Winslow
Perhaps, you like that song by Kenny Logins called "The Danger Zone" - that is to say; The Top Gun movie theme song. In the movie the jet fighter pilots and naval aviators are talking about the need for speed. If you've ever driven a fast car, or participated in sports which are high-impact and fast-paced, then you probably understand exactly what they're talking about.

Why Do Humans Have a Need For Speed?
by
Lance Winslow
It is truly amazing the interest in human behavior that we've found from our audience during this series; "what makes humans tick." In fact, it's been so successful that I am considering doing another full-length series next quarter on a similar topic, and I must say what's made the show so successful has been the call-ins from the audience, you've really kept us going haven't you. Bravo, bravo I say!

Need For Speed Goes Back To Its Roots With Hot Pursuit But Is It Any Good?
by
Ricky Davies
Finally need for speed returns to its roots with Need for Speed Hot Pursuit. I'm not saying the other need for speed games in recent years have been bad it's just they strayed quite a bit away from their roots and often seemed like different video games completely. The last hot pursuit game was actually on the PS2 and since then we have had need for speed games that have often felt like they have been tied into the fast and furious movie franchise.

Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit
by
Josh Vollmer
2009′s release of Need For Speed: Shift was a kind of reinvention of the series. Shift focused on legal, closed course racing and had a physics system that leaned towards a more simulation type experience as opposed to an arcade racer feel. It was met with a fair amount of good press and critical acclaim, receiving higher scores than any of the previous three NFS releases.

Need For Speed - The Run Wii Review
by
Adrian Williams
It's fair to say the Wii hasn't had an abundance of decent arcade style racers added to its library of late, thankfully the latest game in the Need For Speed franchise comes to the rescue so if you like fast paced races you could be in for a treat. Another feature that's been added to the game are the heroic manoeuvres and these can take a little practice, you'll use the heroic manoeuvres to dodge traffic, to dodge falling rocks and also to make insane jumps.
