by
Matthew Lawson

While there's no doubt that Singapore takes a tough stand on fines for anti-social issues and basic public behaviour, Singapore is also fine city for a tourists on a stopover or vacation break.

Celebrate Diwali in Singapore
by
Pushpitha Wijesinghe
The annual festival of Diwali is a celebration of lights and the triumph of good over evil. The festival that draws the Hindu population in Singapore celebrates this grand feast in fine style. You can find the population of Singapore's "Little India" on Serangoon Road coming alive in series of age-old rituals and festivities during the 5-day event in the month of September and October.
