Experience the Psychological Benefits of Nature Through HD TV
by
Adam Singleton
The old adage that TV is bad for your health has recently been challenged by environmental psychologists, who carried out research to explore the psychological benefits of high definition TV. The experiments carried out by Peter Kahn and colleagues at the University of Washington were specifically concerned with nature shows, which now bring viewers closer than ever before to the natural world thanks to the advent of high definition TV. The experimenters sought to examine whether high definition views of nature - broadcast on plasma televisions substituting for windows - would have a beneficial effect on office workers.

A Review of the New Pliosaur Model - Attenborosaurus From Procon/Collecta
by
Mike Walley
Dinosaur models and toys may be very popular with children and collectors but it is always refreshing to see replicas of those contemporaries of the dinosaurs - the marine reptiles being given due consideration when it comes to new product lines. Many of the mainstream model manufacturers have catered for fans of the Plesiosaurs and the Ichthyosaurs by adding replicas of these amazing prehistoric animals to their ranges. Pliosaur models, those replicas of short-necked Plesiosaurs tend to be a little rarer. It is great to see a model of Attenborosaurus being introduced this year, any animal named after that great, British broadcaster Sir David Attenborough, certainly has a lot going for it.

So, You Don't Believe in God - Do You Believe in Love?
by
Rory Sullivan
What is the scientific equation for love? What is the experiment that proves the existence of love? God is love. Love is God. Just as light exhibits the characteristics of both a particle and a wave, so God exists both as an external force and an internal emotion.

Dragons and the BBC
by
Peter Vasilou
Komodo dragons are fascinating creatures: giant carnivorous lizards that can grow to almost ten feet in length and they are the apex predators on the Indonesian islands that they inhabit. With their toxic breath, resulting from the high levels of bacteria contained in their mouths, the Komodo dragons can infect and disable their rivals or their prey with one bite. They are the largest species of monitor lizard in the world, and seeing one is a major attraction of Bali holidays.
