ObamaCare Isn't Looking So Good In the Final Months of October 2013
by
Lance Winslow
Americans have no chance but to sign up for health insurance if they don't already have a policy. Unfortunately, many uninsured people or younger people can't afford it, or don't want it, perhaps because they are healthy. Regardless, when people find out that they actually have to pay for it, and find out the cost, they are liable to get buyers remorse, leading to a loss in consumer confidence and less spendable money for Christmas - care to bet on 2013 Christmas sales season.

Will 2013 Christmas Retail Sales Bomb Due to ObamaCare?
by
Lance Winslow
America's middle class is being squeezed, and all the promises of hope and change were dashed almost as soon as Obama took office. The idea of experiencing one's American Dream by owning a business of your own was nixed early on with the attacks on Joe The Plumber, and the American Dream of getting rich through hard work and good ideas also dashed as the class warfare began. The dreams of sending kids to college so they could reach the upper middle class crushed with high tuition costs. Homeownership promises didn't pan out much better for so many middle class Americans.

Summer 2012 Retail Industry Revenue Trends - What Does It All Mean?
by
Lance Winslow
It seems there are mixed results in the retail space for the summer of 2012. Many of the big box stores seem to have flat sales, or are just barely missing their revenue and profit targets. Speaking of targets, the department store Target showed increased sales, but took a hit on the costs of opening new stores in urban areas. In the small business office store sector both Staples and Office Depot noted a slowdown in same-store sales. Abercrombie and Fitch showed profit down 52% in the second quarter.
