Splendour in the Grass
Splendour In the Grass Fever Has Hit Woodford
by
Debbie Diplock
Well Splendour is finally here. Traffic is on the increase as the steady flow of festival tickets holders stream into town. Most locals welcome them with open arms and others are hiding out in their houses until the chaos has ended. I saw a couple in my street had the caravan hooked up ready to head out of town for the weekend.

The Big Cats of East Africa
by
Andrew Muigai
Though born to kings, cubs need protection from hyenas and leopard. And also from non-pride male lions- for the reason that females will not mate until cubs are about 18 months old. The cubs therefore stand in the way of a mating encounter.

Ganga as in the Mahabharata
by
Rajen Jani
The mention of the river goddess Ganga occurs throughout the eighteen parvas or sections of the Mahabharata in one form or another. But it comes clearly for the very first time in the very first section, i.e. in the Adi Parva, where Ganga in her human form, meets King Shantanu of the Bharata and subsequently the Kuru dynasty, who were the rulers of Hastinapura.

Brick Paving Versus Pebbles Versus Grass
by
Jayden Solle
Should you have a sizable front yard, you've probably contemplated what the ideal route would be to follow to best take advantage of this substantial piece of property. Should you turn it into a beautiful designer garden, cover it with pebbles or maybe turn it into a larger vehicle parking area for your guests through brick paving?

Accommodation in the Annapurnas
by
Tony Maniscalco
Venture into the terraced hillsides of the Annapurnas, and you will wonder at the valleys beneath and the snow-capped mountains above. But after a hard day's trekking you will need somewhere to rest your weary limbs; though you may be immersed in breathtaking landscape and wildlife by day, you will not have to brave the elements by night.

Vacation in Scotland - The Unexplored Isle of Bute Where Time Stands Still
by
Susan Kensington
Ignored by visitors and industry, Scotland's Isle of Bute remains locked into a way of life as of a hundred years ago, with little traffic and open countryside, free from amusement parks, retirement homes, and touring trailers. Easily reached via Glasgow Airport, then a train ride and a thirty-five minute cruise, the island makes on ideal getaway to chill-out from big city life and regain sanity amongst truly stunning scenery. Unlike the better known Isles of Skye, Islay or Mull, Bute retains its natural dignity without tourist traps, kiosks and bars on the beaches, or bagpipes and kilts round every corner. I'll tell you what I know.

I Will Die No More, Forever
by
Jeffrey Carlton
As I stood there studying that fetid corpse at my feet, while wondering at the manner and the cause of his defeat, I gazed at the hideous disfigurement of his life-force, that vile disembowelment of his soul, which in due course I found did bring to me with painful inflection, a smile of gleeful, sadistic abjection. For 'twas then I noticed the broken shards of glass carelessly, senselessly strewn about the bloodied grass. And a knife with a blade of rusted steel lying, streaked in ...
