Spain train crash

Spain train crash
The Train In Spain Crashed Mostly Like a Plane Causing Fatal Pain - Was the Conductor Insane?
by
Lance Winslow
In late July of 2013, 80 passengers died when a train jumped the tracks. What happened? Well, we don't know for sure, maybe someday we will, but the train was going nearly twice the speed it was supposed to and around a corner not designed for such high-speeds with that type of train. Worse, the conductor had previously bragged and boasted on his social networking page about such excessive speeds, even posted pictures of the speedometer at 190 Kilometers per hour. Was the conductor insane?

Banking Pain in Spain With Stormy Clouds and Forecast of More Rain on the Plain
by
Lance Winslow
Perhaps, you remember three or four months ago when the European Union was supposedly going to be saved by the Chinese. In other words, the Chinese would become the lender of last resort because they didn't want to lose the European market for their exports. It is true that Europe accounts for almost 20% of their exports, and therefore it stood to reason that China would be concerned about the euro crisis.

Richard Wright - Moving Away From America Transforming Him to an Internationalist and Africanist
by
Arthur Smith
Wright traveled extensively--to Africa, Asia, and Spain--and wrote several non-fiction works on political and sociological topics. He had helped found Présence Africaine with Aimé Césaire, Leopold Senghor, and Alioune Diop. He spent some time in Ghana and in 1954 published Black Power a title drawn from a term coined by Wright, concerning the color line in Africa and the new "tragic elite," the leaders of the former colonies. In 1953 Wright travelled extensively in the then Gold Coast which was awaiting independence to do research for a book on Africa. The boat in which he was travelling stops briefly in Freetown, Sierra Leone en route to Takoradi where he disembarks and travels from there 170 miles to Accra, his main destination. He meets Kweme Nkrumah the then Prime Minister and other members of his Convention People's Party as well as the king of the Ashantis and other traditional rulers. Excursions took Wright from Accra to Cape Coast, Christianborg and Prampan, visiting slave-trading fortresses and dungeons travelling almost 3,000 miles in a chauffeur-driven car, touring the interior from Koforidua to Mampong and from Sekondi-Takorasdi to Kumasi regions.

Conspicuous By Their Absence: David Beckham - Romario - Raul - Sunday Oliseh - Roy Keane
by
Adeola A Bankole
It always provokes a reaction from fans of national teams whenever their favourite players' names are excluded from the squad to play in any match or to participate in a major tournament. Every fan is an expert, an Alex Ferguson who can give you a million reasons why player A should have been included in the squad. In reality, football is a lot more complex than that.

The Paso Robles Cross
by
Robert D Avery
Recently, an old oak tree fell near Paso Robles, CA, revealing a rough hewed cross in its hollow trunk. The cross was cut there by early Spanish pioneers in the late 1760's, marking a trail for those who followed. The trail became El Camino Real - Highway 101. This story looks briefly at the events surrounding the opening of the trail and encourages the reader to visit one of the restored missions.
