Ubisoft's New DRM Broken in One Day - Does This Protection Still Make Sense?
by
Harold Baldwin
Recently Ubisoft, a video game company, had made a new type of DRM, digital rights management, to protect it's new video games. The idea is that these protections can curb piracy as only customers will be able to play these games on their machines. Despite efforts to have a new and harder to break system, all the new changes were broken in just one day. Does it makes sense to consumers to have DRM on their materials when they clearly do not work?

The War on Used Games
by
Carlisle Rice
As we prepare for the coming wave of next generation systems, we should be anticipating improvements on all the good things we associate with the current crop of systems. But not everything that we're anticipating will be a progressive movement for gaming. At least, as far as Sony and Microsoft are concerned, you can wave goodbye to playing used games on their systems.

From Dust Review
by
Robert James Bell
From Dust, by Ubisoft Montpellier, is a world building God game in the literal sense of the term. There's no economy building, resource gathering or micromanagement, but that doesn't mean From Dust is a simple game, far from it. You play as The Breath, a god-like entity that can reshape the world by picking up large amounts of matter and releasing it elsewhere. Your aim is to help guide tiny ant-sized humans toward various totems so that they can create surrounding villages which will ultimately unlock a final shrine that allows your people move on.

Assassin's Creed Brotherhood Review
by
Levi Boley
Those who didn't play Assassin's Creed 2 might be a little lost as far as the storyline in Assassin's Creed Brotherhood. At the end of Assassin's Creed 2 Ezio escaped the grasp of the evil Templars. Assassin's Creed Brotherhood still has Desmond Miles occupying the Animus virtual reality device in the shoes of Ezio Auditore. Ezio is now trying to defeat the Borgia and the Templars to rebuild Rome.
