by
Vikas Paruchuri
This column will take a look at Nate Burleson, headed for a potentially breakout fantasy season, and Larry Johnson, who could rack up the points behind Priest Holmes or as a starter in front of an injured Holmes.

Fantasy Football Information: Moss Exit Makes Burleson a Star
by
Mark Barnes
Here's fantasy football information that fantasy football nuts should print or write down immediately. Don't worry about the Vikings suffering on offense, due to the loss of Randy Moss. In fact, you can outfox your opponents, because of the Moss trade. You see, most fantasy football people will still value Moss to the point of spending a high pick on him, which may or may not work out, with Moss being a Raider. What most fantasy football owners will also do, which will be a deadly error, is de-value other Vikings, because of the loss of Moss.

Start Em Sit Em: Week 5
by
Cameron Sparks
Well another week is in the books and now we're headed into a part of the season with the two words fantasy owners everywhere despise the most, byes and injuries! Already this year we've lost standouts like Jamaal Charles and Peyton Manning. Other owners have lost stars like Arian Foster, Miles Austin, Michael Vick, Frank Gore, Peyton Hillis, Steven Jackson and Antonio Gates to substantial missed time in key games. To add insult to injury (no, well yea, a little pun intended) in week 4 more standouts took a tumble as Andre Johnson looks to be missing a few weeks with a bad hammy, and two key Steelers are nicked up as Rashard Mendenhall and Big Ben head into week 5 as question marks. Now we're to the point where even the healthy ones sit and Ray Rice, Tony Romo and Brandon Marshall owners have to look elsewhere to fill that void. Don't worry people Fantasy Football Life has got you covered on the folks you can count on for a spot start if you're in a bind. Here's the Fantasy Football Life "Start 'Em Sit 'Em" for week 5:

Fantasy Football Quandary - Are Targets a Vital Statistic?
by
Ryan Lester
It seems the trendy statistic in the NFL is the number of targets a player receives. Quite simply, it's the number of times the ball is thrown to a player. Obviously it's important that a player gets thrown to in order to put up numbers, but is it being over-hyped?

Kyle J Smith
Just when you think you have this whole fantasy football thing figured out, last week happens. How else do you explain Tom Brady going from playing at a Super Bowl level to playing at a Pop Warner level, or Vincent Jackson breaking the hearts of every fantasy enthusiast who put him in their lineups? Alas, we are still here to do our part to help you put together the best lineup possible.

Super Bowl Long Shots Part 2
by
Leo Mendelsohn
Most of you know there have been seven teams to win back to back Super Bowls but never three in a row. But did you know that the year after the back to back run an AFC team won the Super Bowl the following year the first 4 times and the NFC has been the victor the past 3 times. Does the NFC produce the next Super Bowl winner to complete the trend?

NFL Dogs: An Early Look
by
Bryan Leonard
While many publications are beginning to look at the best teams in the NFL, there is just as much money to be made betting AGAINST teams with weaknesses. Here's a look at some NFL teams that appear to be moving in the wrong direction.

Seattle Seahawks Depend on Hasselbeck to Win
by
Felicia Cranston
The 08's season for the Seattle Seahawks was an utter disappointment finishing 4-12. The Seahawks caught the injury bug and no one was able to stay healthy, thus the bad record. The 09' season for the Seahawks should be well improved -- the Seahawks might not be Super Bowl contenders but should compete in every game they are in.

One-Week Frenzy Forecast
by
Kyle J Smith
Five weeks into the season, there are clears haves and have-nots. That was made especially evident last week, when six of the 14 games played saw the winning teams conquer by at least 19 points. Week 6 of the season should be a bit more competitive, and ultimately a bit more enjoyable for football fans.
