So, the Champions League draw have been made, and I have to admit one of the most anticipated matches is Inter vs Man Utd. Italian champions vs English champions. I'm an Arsenal fan, so I'm rather happy about it. Man Utd think they are the best, well eat this! Let's see how you get past Inter.

Champions League Draw - Chelsea Draw Barcelona For the Third Season Running

Incredibly Chelsea drew Barcelona for the third season running in the Champions League draw. Europe's top two teams will clash in London on October 18th with the return in Barcelona on October 31st. The world's most prestigious club football tournament kicks off on September 12th.

Firm followers of UEFA competitions and most especially the Champions League, can attest to the reality that there have been EPL sides in the semi-final of the champions league for the previous six seasons i.e. 2003-2009. In the past six seasons, EPL sides regular in the champions league (Liverpool FC, Manchester United FC, Chelsea FC and Arsenal FC) have all some way featured in the semi-final of the champions league in the past six seasons, which made English and even foreigners marvel at their absence this season, in the semi-final of Europe's elite club competition.

UEFA Champions League Group Stages Final Games Review

The UEFA Champions League has finished it's Group Stages in this year's competition and there are now only 16 teams left to battle it out for the most coveted club trophy in world soccer. The final round of games was played this week to decide which teams topped their group and who would come second and therefore run the risk of drawing a one of the giants in the first knock out round. There were a few surprises in the final positions and all the teams will be eagerly awaiting the draw which will take place on December 19th. Since the European Cup was made over into the Champions League in 1993, no team from the former Eastern Bloc has claimed the European crown. The only team from the East to have made an impact during that time was Dynamo Kyiv in the late 1990's.
