Whose Line Is It Anyway

Whose Line Is It Anyway
Whose Line Is It Anyway?

From time to time I get asked by parents for help with regard to discipline of their children. It is a different age to when many of us were kids and yesterdays discipline techniques don't work today. Many of them anyway.

Whose Line Is It Anyway?

There are hundreds and thousands of quotes and clips which we have passed down through the ages. We have words of wisdom from men and women who have been through trials and struggles who share their experiences with us through short, yet thought provoking, words.

Whose Life Is It Anyway?
by
Josette Veltri
Everyday we are given a gift. The gift to start over, the opportunity to change how we see, feel and experience the moment. The chance to say, "This Is My Life."

Whose Life Is It Anyway?
by
Kate Corbin
As children, we learned to behave (or at least appeared to behave) in ways calculated to gain the approval of parents or authority figures - the ones with the stuff. It made sense then to toe the line for the people with the power to affect your life. If, however, you're still trying to get approval from others, you might want to ask yourself - "Whose life is it anyway?"

Whose Fault Is It Anyway? Stop Playing The Blame Game
by
Iris Shamble
Will you stop blaming others for what you choose to do? Will you accept choices you have made that may have caused disappointments in your life? Will you be willing to create in you a clean heart so you can move on to success in your life?

Whose Job is it Anyway?
by
Yana Berlin
My children were very social from an early age. At first, I arranged the play dates and made sure everyone showed up on time. But as the children got older and their friends began to show up at my doorstep on their own, I soon learned that if I didn't enforce certain rules I would lose control of the household. With my husband traveling 50 percent of the time, it was a lot of kids and only one of me.

Whose Deadline Is It, Anyway?
by
Lynette Crane
There are real deadlines it's important to meet: dialing 9.1.1. within seconds after witnessing symptoms of a heart attack or stroke comes to mind immediately, and an example that meets the true definition of "deadline."

Whose "Fundamentals" Are They Anyway? (A New Look at the Fundamentals of Basketball Shooting)
by
Tom Nordland
The "Fundamentals of Shooting" are generally considered extremely important to all players and coaches. But who decided what they are? Do they really work? Are the ones most people would agree on these days really that helpful? The question is then asked, "Whose Fundamentals are they anyway"? If we agree that shooting is a "Lost Art", maybe we need to revise the Fundamentals. The author gives his opinions on what they could be.

Whose Internet Is This, Anyway?
by
Chin Wong
WHEN I was first learning about the Internet, one of the most difficult concepts to grasp was that it belonged to no one. There was no central authority managing the network. Nobody owned or controlled it. Not even Bill Gates. And because it belonged to no one, it belonged to everyone, and millions of Web sites flourished, the small growing right alongside the giants. All that's going to change, if large American carriers have their way.
