The Bridge FX
How to Lead Effectively - Build the Bridge First
by
Peggy Ng
Leadership is about people. You cannot be a leader if there are no follows. But to lead you must be able to connect with the people whom you want to lead. You must build the bridge first. As we go through life, one thing is certain for the majority of us and that is that we must interact with people every day. The quality of the life that we will live is going to be affected by the quality of the relationships that we will build. They say that ninety percent of the art of living consist of getting along with people you cannot stand and that in getting along with others, ninety- eight percent depends on our behavior with them. How we build the bridge with them.

Where is the Troll Under the Bridge in Seattle?
by
Ella S.
There are a lot of interesting tourist attractions to see in Seattle, but one of the more interesting ones isn't even located in downtown Seattle. In order to see the troll under the bridge, you're going to have to travel to Fremont. It's definitely worth the trip.

The Bridge by David Remnick
by
Prasoon Kumar
In 2004, nobody outside Chicago had heard about the subject of the book The Bridge by David Remnick, Barack Hussein Obama, who was only a state legislator then and author of a memoir titled Dreams from My Father. Next he went on to win the Democratic primary for Illinois, a safe seat for the Democrats. It was about four months later when he delivered the famous keynote address to Democratic National Convention ("there is not a liberal America and a conservative America; there is a United States of America").

The Bridge Over River Kwai and the Death Railway
by
Frank Munkvold
Before crossing the Kwai Yai River at the Bridge over the River Kwai just beyond the city of Kanchanaburi, the Thailand - Burma Railway line, running over 250 miles, goes through an incredible yet often incredibly tough landscape. The Death Railway is probably the most scenic train ride in Thailand.

Sarah Palin: A Journey Across The Bridge To Polarization
by
Frederick B. Fox, Jr.
It never ceases to amaze me, how Sarah Palin, who emerged from relative obscurity in 2008, has more written and discussed about her than any other person in America, with the exception of President Obama. As I have been pondering this phenomenon, it suddenly all became so clear, as I watched that recent episode of "Sarah Palin's Alaska" in disbelief.

Book Review: The Bridges of Madison County by Robert James Waller
by
Lynai Lamason
Before writing this review, I did a bit of browsing of reviews already posted in Goodreads and saw mostly 1 star ratings. I felt quite sad because I really liked the story and how it was written. The prose bears a little semblance to Nicholas Sparks and Nicholas Evans, two authors of some books that I liked, and is probably one of the reasons why it was easy for me to fall in love with the story.

Book Review - The Bridge - The Life and Rise of Barack Obama
by
Linda Hancock
"The Bridge" describes the very personal details of the family and life of Barack Obama as well as the political and social conditions which allowed him to become the first African-American President of the United States. The author, David Remnick, who is a journalist, traces the historical aspects of the civil rights movement which began in slavery, advanced to a Bloody Sunday race confrontation in Selma Alabama and climaxed in the 2009 inauguration.

The Great Uses of the Bridging Loans
by
Ricky Hussey
A bridge loan is a kind of short term loan, which can generally be paid off within a year. The purpose behind taking a bridging loan is to meet the expenses of the borrower, unless a long term funding is obtained.

Learn to Play the Bridge Card Game
by
Poppy R Smith
Bridge is becoming an increasingly popular game and anyone of any age can learn to play. In the UK, Australia and New Zealand players usually use the ACOL system. This ought to be a clever acronym, but Acol is just the name of the road where the system was first devised.

The Bridges of Venice
by
Christopher Auriol
The Bridge of Sighs and the Rialto Bridge are just two of Venice's most popular and recognisable landmarks, up there with the likes of Saint Mark's Square and Saint Mark's Basilica and Campanile, so naturally most visitors to Venice will want to see these wonderful pieces of architecture. During a visit to Venice you'll see and cross over many different bridges, and you'll probably pass under quite a few too, but the chances are you'll only see a very small proportion of the total number of bridges in Venice!
