Robin Roberts

Robin Roberts
Was Robin Hood A Yorkshireman
by
Fred Watson
As a boy I was brought up on tales of Robin Hood and his merry men, as were my children and now, with a new series on the small screen, my children's children. We also lived for ten years in a small Yorkshire village near to Wentbridge

New Movies Out On DVD - New Version of Robin Hood Comes to DVD
by
Tyson Hogan
Robin Hood is one of the big blockbusters. No less than 30 Hollywood versions of Robin Hood have been produced, including some comedic ones. In the summer of 2010, Russell Crowe and the director from his Gladiator movie, Ridley Scott, presented a 2010 version of Robin Hood. Are we not entertained? Any resemblance to the Oscar-winning Gladiator is purely not...

The King of the Delta Blues Singers - Robert Johnson Still Stands at the Crossroads
by
Robin Piggott
Robert Leroy Johnson is arguably the most influential of the pre-war Bluesmen in shaping the Music of today. His short life was snuffed out at the age of 27; but by that time he had laid down 36 tracks that will live forever. Crossroad Blues is probably the best known and my favourite would be from 1968 at the Fillmore, by Clapton Bruce and Baker.

Network Marketing - Robert Kiyosaki's Perfect Business
by
Robin Rushlo
Robert Kiyosaki, the famous author behind the Rich Dad, Poor Dad series of financial books has talked about network marketing as one of the most perfect business models on the planet. But why has one who has never been involved in network marketing seem to endorse it as a good business model? Some may claim that this is a hypocritical endorsement, but in reality, Kiyosaki's findings are founded on solid business building principles and are hence, are valid observations.

Robin Hood: Top Movie Review
by
Jesper Joergensen
King Richard, known as the Lion heart King of England in the late 12th century is killed in a battle. Following his death, Robin Longstride, who else but Russell Crowe could make it a top 10 movies act, is a deft archer in the king's army which he has served for ten years, is returning to his town along with some other soldiers. An English Knight, Sir Godfrey, a sinister portrayal done by top rated movies veteran Mark Strong, a stooge of King of France has set up an ambush of the Royal Guard. On seeing Robin and his companions, Sir Godfrey flees. Robin and his companions take up the disguise of the slain knights to secure a safe passage back home.

Robert Pattinson Or Edward Cullen?
by
Seri Haq
There is a little bit of mystification in the air between the Twilight star Robin Pattinson and Edward Cullen. Twilight fans will surely feel distressed by my opinion.

Hugh Jackman and Robert Downey Jr The Saviors of Comic Book Movies
by
Simon Walters
Before the likes of X-Men and Spider-Man, comic book movies were in a dire place. Joel Schumacher's Batman
Robin had effectively destroyed the Batman movie franchise and put other comic book movies on hold. Marvel (and DC eventually) had to go dark to save the comic book movie industry. After Marvel released Blade, which won worldwide acclaim, Marvel decided to push forward with their superhero blockbusters. Starting with X-Men.

Forrest Gump Movie Review - Starring Tom Hanks and Robin Wright
by
David Terr
"Forrest Gump" is an amusing tale of a mildly retarded man who ends up meeting three presidents as well as making a fortune and participating in and influencing several key historical events. Tom Hanks does a terrific acting job as Gump. The use of computer graphics imagery (CGI), by which Gump is shown meeting the presidents and Lt. Dan Taylor (Sinise) is made to appear as if his legs have been amputated, is also impressive.
