The first match in the Artemio Franchi Stadium in Florence saw Bayern Munich make it through to the quarter-finals, but only by virtue of the away goals ruling, as they lost 3-2 to Fiorentina. After their narrow 2-1 first-leg victory Bayern looked to be in for a tough test, and their fears were rapidly confirmed as Vargas put the home into the lead, which meant that the Germans were on their way out on the away goals rule.

Montenegro have done well in the short span of three years they have spent in international football, but speculating about a win against England at Wembley could be a bit ambitious. Given their performance so far, Montenegro can hope to qualify from the group even if they were to lose Tuesday's match. That said, England will underestimate their Balkan rivals at their peril. Montenegro will miss Steven Jovetic owing to injury, but their balance of attacking and defence makes them formidable rivals, despite Montenegro's relative inexperience at the international level. There will be no pressure at all on Montenegro, and that will make them an even bigger threat.
