Book Review - "Where Men Win Glory" by Jon Krakauer
by
Daniel Breedlove
Jon Krakauer, a best-selling author famous for his non-fictional and biographical writing, has written a new book tackling a very difficult issue in the world today. His main topic in his new book Where Men Win Glory: The Odyssey of Pat Tillman, is the epic rise and fall of NFL star Pat Tillman. However, the there is so much more to the book than an extraordinary biography. The author talks in-depth about the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, the life of a soldier from start to finish, and politics of the world for approximately the last 30 years. Krakauer has obviously done his homework while writing this book the result is a second-to-none, non-fictional account of an exceptional person.
