Top 10 Diane Lane Movies
by
Andy Webb
Although praised by Olivier and finding herself being touted as the next major movie star by several magazines, Lane's career for the most slumped for a few years as she appeared in such unmemorable movies as "National Lampoon's Movie Madness" and "Six Pack". But things picked up again when legendary director cast Diane Lane in his 1983 movies "Rumble Fish" and "The Outsiders" both of which have become cult classics.

There Will Be Confusion
Discomfort
by
Tammi Ree
Two of the most recent films I have seen of late - There Will Be Blood and Untraceable are two I would have rather missed altogether. In both films the leading actors, Daniel Day Lewis and Diane Lane, respectively, never miss a beat in their performances. However, there are issues with both of these films that will have the average moviegoer wishing they had opted for The Bucket List instead.

Movie Review: The Secretariat - Horsing Around
by
Gautam Chintamani
The big problem that plagues The Secretariat is that sometimes true life incidents can make for very boring films. The story of a horse that no one gave a chance going on to winning the three important races in the United States might be the stuff that dreams are made of but it's just not exciting enough for a film.

Celebrate a Woman: Penny Tweedy Chenery
by
Marina DelVecchio
Celebrate a Woman Wednesday: Helen "Penny" Tweedy Chenery - the true hero behind the success of Secretariat I ran off to the movies tonight because I wanted to see Diane Lane play the role of what appeared to be a true and honest real-life heroine. And she did. I was very pleased with the movie, the horse, and this remarkable woman behind the horse.

Duck Talk Via Donald Duck
Other Romantic Languages Of Youth- Pig Latin, Name Game, Memory Lane Now
by
Russ Miles
All of the ducks were kept in cages during the study. One of the animal care technicians noticed that the ducks were social critters. So, they cut holes in the top of the cages so the ducks could stick their heads out and quack at each other. There was much rejoicing amongst the ducks and everybody quacked at each other. A couple of months ago I was in some heavy traffic downtown. I looked about and noticed that a large portion of the people in the cars were talking on cell phones. I then remembered the ducks and realized that we weren't that much different than the ducks. Subject: A SAD PARALLEL.... I bought a bird feeder...

Four Average Movies - Two Messy and Two Unpretentious
by
Ed Bagley
Here are four average movies, two of which are pretty screwed up (The Family Stone with Sarah Jessica Parker, Diane Keaton, Craig T. Nelson and Rachel McAdams, and Mona Lisa Smile with Julia Roberts) and two of which are unpretentious and easy on the eye (Indian Summer with Diane Lane and Unlikely Angel with Dolly Parton) Despite being pure fluff, I would rate the last two better than the first two.
