Changing Table Sheets: Superhero Breastplate Craft!

What child doesn't want to be a superhero? This new craft uses a changing table sheet to make a superhero breastplate. The craft can be as simple or as elaborate as you would like. It is fun for preschoolers through 1st graders and can be used in a child care center, home school, or elementary school. You can use small, deli style, 10" x 15" size changing table ½ sheets for 2 and 3 year olds and I might suggest using full size 16" x 24" changing table sheets for 4 to 6 year olds.

Not too long ago, I was talking with a Starbucks employee who had become smitten with art after taking several classes at the local community college here. On her break she was talking to a fellow artist who'd also become quite talented as a pen and ink sketch artist. They both fancied themselves someday breaking into the local art scene, selling their creations online, and becoming well-known artists. Only one problem with all of this - the cost of supplies was killing them.

BrewDog's Tactical Nuclear Penguin

In late 2009 BrewDog Brewery, out of Scotland, shocked the world with a 32% Imperial Stout appropriately named Tactical Nuclear Penguin. The effects of the beer can still be felt today as a new class of beer was born in the eyes of the Brewers Association: Hyper Beer. What should have been a one time brew has seen five years of growth and the demand for Tactical Nuclear Penguin is as strong as it was during Brewdog's first release.
