When Poor Communication Takes the Biscuit
by
Chris D Payne
Often, we have assumptions and ideas about something, but through embarrassment and or politeness, we frequently decide to say nothing. While we may do this to avoid confrontation, the outcome can potentially be far worse by staying silent than risking a slight red face by speaking out.

Milk and Tea - A Bitter Debate
by
Sarah Price
I am an American, and I have never tried milk with my tea. I do take it with my coffee, just a bit for color, but I have never (not even once!) tasted it with black tea. The English would be appalled. Something you may not know about me: I am a literature buff, a real book-junkie. Douglas Adams is one of my personal heroes, and I have nothing but the utmost respect for George Orwell. Both of these men were English, and both took their tea with milk-in fact they insisted on it. So naturally, I think I ought to give it a try. Today, that is what I do.

Management Have Become a Nuisance
by
Peter A Hunter
When the NHS was first set up in the UK it's champion, Nye Bevan, told us that the people who deliver the services should be the people who decide how those services should be delivered. Since then the administration of the NHS has grown to the point where the people who deliver the services are now not able to do so because of the obstacles created by the administrators. Whenever successive governments tried to buy votes by increasing spending on the NHS the extra money was always sucked up by the administrators with little difference made to the service delivery.

Friday's Fitness Quotes - Never Contract Friendship With A Man That
by
Brandon Johnsonn
My equally brilliant interpretation and application to the fitness world: Find someone who has already accomplished what you want to accomplish, then learn as much as you can from them about how they did it.

A Question of Choice
by
Howard M Hughes
When I was younger I used to love to go "clubbing". Friends of mine were top DJs playing with Sasha, Digweed and Nigel Benn. Their mixing was flawless and the tune selection always moved the crowd.
