by
Chris Saliba
Michael Schacker's A Spring Without Bees examines the phenomenon known as Colony Collapse Disorder, or CCD. For many years, bee colonies in Europe and the United States have been dying off at an alarming rate. Schacker's book works like a fascinating detective story, seeking out a cause for Colony Collapse Disorder. However, in seeking to blame the pesticide Imidacloprid, the book perhaps reaches its conclusions too soon.

Anesthesia Monitoring
by
Marcia Jenny Henin
Anesthesia means the medical condition of inducing sensation along with feelings of pain that is relieved for some time. It allows the patients to go through a surgery along with other procedures without pain and distress. Oliver Wendell Holmes created this word in 1846. Yet another definition for anesthesia is reversible lack of awareness. Anesthesia varies from analgesia in choking up all the sensation and not just pain.

Managing Diversity in IT Department Through Cultural Intelligence
by
Raj Sheelvant
Its important for the managers but for the organization's culture to recognize the importance of enabling the collaboration among employees with diverse background. But without proper training the HR department or the management do not have the right tools to maximize the productivity and take advantage of diversity within the organization. Most of the HR departments have diversity initiative that targets the issue only superficially (based on the skin color). That may be counterproductive and no one knows how to translate diversity initiative into maximizing profits for the organizations. Hence the diversity initiative end up being only one of the many 'HR policies' and managers don't get very enthusiastic in implementing it. Hence they will try to do the minimal that is mandated by the corporate HR department. According to Martha Maznevski**, professor of organizational behavior and international management at IMD, Lausanne, Switzerland, only way to leverage diversity in the organization is for individuals to develop Cultural Intelligence. According to Martha, Cultural intelligence is an ability to look at situation from both business and cultural perspective simultaneously.

William King

It's not easy to single out the top 2 or 3 from a number of exceptional institutes, from all around the world. Still, there are some institutes that will make it to the top of any list that ranks these type of schools, based on any criteria.
