How Channing Tatum Became the Sexiest Man Alive
by
Zack Mandell
Few were surprised when "People" magazine named heartthrob Channing Tatum as Sexiest Man Alive. The 32-year-old actor has a knack for turning on the charm. His chiseled physique and the natural way he plays romantic roles combined with his integrity on and off the big screen made him a favorite for the magazine's popular yearly award.

Movie Review of The Vow
by
Crista White
Hypothetically speaking, if you were to wake up from a coma and not remember anything about the last 4 years of your life, including the person you are married to, it would be a frightening and confusing ordeal. Of course, if the person claiming to be your spouse looked like Channing Tatum, there's a distinct possibility you might be tempted to just go with it, although I suppose that's simplifying the issue a bit. But if you are wondering if the storyline translates into a worthwhile movie, read on.

GI Joe - The Rise of Cobra - Review
by
Bill Bonfanti
Stephen Sommers big screen adaption of the popular toy property is exactly what it should be; it is a big, loud, fun, action packed, kick ass summer popcorn movie that perfectly captures the spirit of the cartoons and comic books from the 80's. I can tell you right now that any bad reviews you've read are from critics who clearly don't get the appeal of the Real American Heroes. Fortunately for us, Sommers does. Whether you're a fan of G.I. Joe (I am) or just like big budget, action spectacles, you will enjoy every pulse pounding moment of The Rise of Cobra.

Movie Review: 21 Jump Street (2012)
by
Joel Massie
21 Jump Street begins with the basic concept of a buddy cop film, but cleverly integrates several additional comedic elements to create an entertaining admixture of humorous ideas. The notion of adults forced to repeat high school is compounded by both role reversal and status change. Though the surrounding jokes aren't always as creative as the situations, the sheer quantity of gags and eccentric characters keeps the hit-or-miss ratio less noticeable.

Movie Review - 21 Jump Street (2012) (R)
by
Chris Pandolfi
21 Jump Street treads on thin ice in an early scene where it's explained that the police department has revived a specialty division that started in the 1980s, that it's part of a trend of resurrecting and modernizing old programs due to a lack of original ideas, and that they're hoping the public won't notice. Nothing threatens to ruin a movie faster than winking at the audience in a showy display of self-referential humor. Fortunately, the filmmakers had the foresight to get this out of the way as quickly as possible.

Movie Review: Magic Mike (2012)
by
Joel Massie
Apparently, the world of male strippers isn't all fun and games as the movie trailers might have you believe. Magic Mike begins with all the laughs, silliness, and comedy one would expect, but halfway through, drama rears its ugly head. A little conflict wouldn't normally be so unwelcome, but here it curbs the momentum of the spirited atmosphere and ultimately proves to be futile.

Movie Review For Fighting
by
Dan Stevens
This is an enjoyable movie and rightly billed as Rocky for a new generation. I must say the music, and cinematography people will instantly recognise the Rocky references, even without being told that this is being billed as Rocky for a new generation.
