A Preview of Ukraine for The Euros
by
Drakes Drum
The ghost of Lobanovskyi still looms large over the current Ukrainian team, managed by Oleh Blokhin. Having been a key player for Lobanovskyi, Blokhin is a true disciple of his former manager. His ceaseless restlessness, constantly seeking improvement, a keen eye for detail, huge emphasis on the team and system of the team and a disciplinarian approach in demanding the very best from his players. Blokhin will go into 2012 with realistic ambitions, but there won't be a more determined nation to do well, indeed many sections of the media and fans haven't been shy in demanding a Euro 2012 win.

Major League Soccer has been trying for years to gain traction in the heart of American sports fans, but they've re-amped their efforts following a wildly successful World Cup. The South African games had more viewers than any previous Cups. Marc Carinci
Summer is over. That only means one thing: the Champions League is back. This year's joint favourites, Barcelona and Chelsea, have fast become bitter rivals in this competition. That rivalry is certain to intensify since they were drawn into the same group at this early stage of the tournament. The group winners and runners-up advance to the knockout stages, the eight third-placed teams move into the UEFA Cup third round, and the eight fourth-placed teams are eliminated. Champions League Club Profile - CSKA Moskva
by
Paul Gore
Since the European Cup was made over into the Champions League in 1993, no team from the former Eastern Bloc has claimed the European crown. The only team from the East to have made an impact during that time was Dynamo Kyiv in the late 1990's.

Productivity Profiles - The Coach (3)
by
Hans Bool
The problem with style lies in the management of it. A style evolves like a rational consequence of a approach to solve a problem. In business the problem is to get the right performance, in sport it is to win. An approach to organize could be to focus on the "right way" on the process and procedures. But this doesn't automatically mean that the performance targets will be met.
