Beagle-Boston Terrier - What Happens When You Cross a Beagle and Boston Terrier?
by
Raymond Hendricks
There's no punch line to this question. A Beagle Boston Terrier mix is a called a Boglen, which is now officially a hybrid or "designer dog" in the American Canine Hybrid Club (ACHC) registry. Every hybrid dog must have purebred parents. When you get a Beagle-Boston Terrier mix, you will get characteristics of both purebred parents.

What Happened in the Credit Crisis?
by
Joseph Devine
The credit crisis was a result of a variety of bad things happening at once after numerous people made bad decisions on investments and homes. Basically, it all started in 2001 when the Alan Greenspan lowered the interest rate on treasury investments to 1%.

What Happens When Online Apps, Online Coupons, and Grocery Store Loyalty Cards All Merge?
by
Lance Winslow
The other day I was at the grocery store, and someone ahead of me was buying their groceries with food stamps - perhaps, this has happened to you? I noticed that the person in front of me with the food stamps was buying soda pop, potato chips, and lots of snacks - not really food necessities, and that disturbed me because as a taxpayer, I realized that I am paying for that. Worse, I also happen to notice that they were an overweight family, which made sense based on their purchases.

The 2011 Stanley Cup Final - What Happened to the Vancouver Canucks?
by
Ron Malezis
After excelling as the best team during the regular season, the Vancouver Canucks looked oddly out of place during the 2011 Stanley Cup Final series. They were not only expected to reach the Final; they were expected to win. So what went wrong? Why did this team that appeared destined to win it all end up losing to the Boston Bruins?

Today in History - What Happened on the 18th of June
by
Shane Oliver
1621 - America's first ever duel took place on this day, using sword and dagger two servants fought for their honour. The fight was condemned and even though they both suffered injuries, they were punished by having their head and feet tied together for 24 hours without food or drink. After an hour of this and plenty of begging they were released.

1796 - The first record of beer being brewed in Australia. A Mr John Boston of Sydney came up with an interesting brew. He used Indian corn as the main ingredient and for the bittering agent used the leaves and stalks of the Cape Gooseberry plant.

The Boston Tea Party and the History of Tea in America
by
Brian Karwowski
To people in England in the late 1700s, America symbolized hope. Many risked their lives traveling the high seas just to reach the new continent, suffering vitamin and mineral deficiencies along the way. Little did they know that once they arrived, they would have major obstacles to overcome.

Boston History, World History, and Your Business
by
Bonnie Hurd Smith
In the U.S., local history and national history are intertwined. And so are American history and world history. While giving a walking tour in Boston recently for an international group of women economists, this really hit home. My audience members were working hard in their distant countries for equality, legal justice, and an end to racism. They wanted to hear the American stories.

Boston's Big Dig or Boston's Big Mistake?
by
Dale Orlando
Who decided that the best way to ventilate a ceiling was to suspend the basement floor over our heads? On a simmering Tuesday morning I learned of the death of a Jamaica Plain woman when a 12-ton concrete section of the Central Artery Tunnel connector ceiling crashed into her car. Wednesday we learned that at least 60 more such problem areas exist in just the eastbound lane of the Turnpike connector to the Ted Williams Tunnel.
