Nirvana's Kurt Cobain

Kurt Cobain was named "the voice of Generation X", a title that he didn't appreciate well. His musical composition came as a new tune in the market at a time when pop songs such as Michael Jackson's proliferates the music scene everywhere. Right timing and good luck must have been at Cobain's side to have earned instantly the acceptance of many fans, or maybe it was his innate talent or musical genius that enabled him to weave his own kind of music that is different from the rest.

Kurt Cobain's Smelly Mistake Leads to Nirvana's Best Known Song
by
Paul VanScott
This song went to number 6 in the US and number 7 in the UK. This song is written in the key of F minor. Some say this song started the grunge movement and ended the run of several 80s type bands. For the most part that is true. The lyrics here are basically poetic angles on the main theme of apathy, alienation and angst.

Due to the well-documented controversy surrounding the film throughout its production, many people have viewed this film in order to see 'what the commotion was about'. A great deal of this controversy appeared when Broomfield's financial partners for the film, MTV, withdrew their support after Courtney Love threatened legal action against the company and Broomfield.

Nirvana was one of the bands that have made an indelible name in the music industry. True enough, the band's front man, Kurt Cobain, has since become one of the icons in the music industry. Cobain was born on February 20, 1967 in the small town of Hoquaim, 140 kilometers southwest of Seattle. His mom was a cocktail waitress. His dad was an auto mechanic. Cobain soon moved to Aberdeen, a quiet and depressed logging town.

If Kurt Cobain Were Still Alive, How Would His Music Have Evolved Over the Past 15 Years?
by
Jansen Simmons
Having little, if any say in the production of their music, Nirvana, displeased with the production work of musical genius, Steve Albini, attempted to object to the recording of their last album, in a feeble attempt to grasp control of their lives that were rapidly spinning out of control. The problem wasn't becoming too famous too fast, it wasn't chemical imbalance or depression, and it wasn't even just the advertising executives. The problem was complex, disingenuous, and insidious.

Cobain was considered during most of his childhood a sickly bronchitic child. Situation worsened when his parents divorced when he was seven. In 1989, they recorded their first album, Bleach, considered on of the best Grunge hits at that time. Cobain felt into heroin in the early 90's, he said he used it as a shield against the rigorous demands of touring and to stop the pain of stomach ulcers.

Nirvana - A Huge Impact to The Music World
by
Eddie Kisah
If you are among the teenagers around the world that decided to pick up the guitar in the 90's, chances are you've been inspired by one band that made a huge impact at the time called 'Nirvana'. Formed in the late 1980's, Nirvana only lasted for 7 years when tragedy struck in April 1994. The band's frontman Kurt Cobain was found dead in what is reported as suicide. It was the end for the band that brought back rock into the mainstream at times when 'Boy Bands' rules.
