Boston Massacre, Part Deux
by
Kevin Roberts
The New York Yankees finished up their dismantling of the Boston Red Sox by beating them 2-1 Monday afternoon. Even a solid performance from the oft-injured David Wells couldn't keep the Bo-sox from being swept by their rivals.

The New York Yankees and Boston Red Sox Rivalry
by
Jason Forthofer
here are many great rivalries across the spectrum of sports, but the one between the New York Yankees and the Boston Red Sox is in a league of its own. The history between these two fabled baseball teams is too extensive to give proper consideration in a brief article. Nevertheless, this article will attempt to provide a brief synopsis of this great rivalry.

The Boston Dead Sox
by
Dennis Macklin
An old joke between fans giving each other the business goes, "What's Red, White, and Blue (fill in appropriate team colors) and playing golf?" In less than a month, around the various water holes of New York, the answer of course will be - The Boston Red Sox. Unfortunately for Beantown fans, this year it is not a joke.

The RAF Lockheed Ventura Light Bomber
by
Michael Russell
The Lockheed Ventura Mks I and II were more famous by the end of WW II as bomber trainers, although they were still being flown operationally by the South Africans. With a full load of bombs they were overweight for a twin-engined bomber and fared badly in raids over Europe. Later they came into their own flying maritime reconnaissance and finally as trainers.

The North American B-25 Mitchell
by
Robert Waldvogel
Driving down New Highway, which skirts the perimeter of Farmingdale, Long Island's, Republic Airport, on the still-warm, crystal-blue Labor Day morning in 2006, and glimpsing the tails of the World War II B-24 Liberator, B-17 Flying Fortress, and B-25 Mitchell bombers, I had once again realized that the Collings Foundation's annual Wings of Freedom fleet rotation, more than any other year, had transformed the general aviation field into an early-1940s pocket of time, a hub of medium and heavy bomber operations.

Do We Need To Register Pressure Cookers?
by
Larry M. Elkin
Can we prevent kitchenware from being turned into bombs by registering pressure cookers, or requiring background checks for buyers? Nobody seems to think so.

President Bush is a Great President - Do Not Let The Media BS You!
by
Lance Winslow
Often socialist modern liberal thinkers in Los Angeles, Boston or New York will lash out with at the first opportunity to criticize the President of the United States of America, the greatest nation ever created in the history of humankind.

The Yankees Are Alive - Sort of
by
Chris W. King
No one in their right mind can deny the fact that the Yankees are back in the minds of all the American League contenders right now. The Red Sox have kept the Yankees in their rear view mirror since about the 2nd month of the season, but with the Yankees 9-2 victory at Rogers Centre last night coupled with the Red Sox 10-4 loss in Anaheim, the Yankees are now only 5 games back of their division foe.
