The former tank commander often sounds paranoid about the possibility of his assassination or overthrow. In fact, in 2005 he made world news by telling the press that America was developing plans to assassinate him. The United States Department of State would reject his accusation as "wild."

The President of Venezuela has decided that elections are simply not needed, he will be glad to stay in power for as long as he wants the job, for now that would be indefinitely. Perhaps, he would like to keep it in the family and start a monarchy or just make himself a king and stay in power. Of course, many people who work with him, will not speak up, as they kind of like their job and their life.

If you'll recall last time he spoke at the United Nations he criticized the United States, and President George W. Bush, indicating that he was a sulfur-laden Devil of some type.

Yesterday, I was reading through see the international news that I came across a very troubling article in the Washington Post, it was one about Hugo Chavez who is currently the President of Venezuela (Socialist Party), and probably will be for a long time since he has been able to close media outlets that report negative stories about him, and put his political opposition in jail. In any case, all this is well-known, and no surprise to anyone, however there was something very interesting that president Hugo Chavez stated. You see, he promised that he would create 3 million jobs...

In Hugo Chavez fit of rage against the United States, Venezuela is now cutting oil production to increase oil prices. They are cutting the crude oil exports by 200,000 barrels per day. Unfortunately for Venezuela, the leaders of the World are getting more and more concerned with Global Warming and how crude oil in Venezuela is polluted with sulfur and other contaminants.

Apparently, Hugo Chavez is claiming that the US's involvement in Central and South America, along with their in action on some of their political posturing is a signal that "the winds of war are starting to blow." In other words Hugo Chavez is using political rhetoric and the fear of war against the United States of America.
