by
Sean Mitton
The average hockey player in the NHL plays for 5 years or about 370 games. Once their career is over then it's on to life after hockey, which means looking at future employment. Certainly an education is beneficial in their next career, however only 23% of today's hockey players have a post secondary education. With that in mind, this article will look at College Hockey with some insights from Paul Kelly formerly the head of the NHLPA and now the head of College Hockey Inc.

Movie Review For Ink
by
Dan Stevens
This is a strange surreal science fiction movie that follows beings the rest of the world do not see, but are responsible for our dreams and sometimes nightmares. We first see some flashbacks of a very busy businessman John played by Chris Kelly, who has just recently divorced from his wife, and spending some time with his daughter Emma played by Quinn Hunchar, he at first is reluctant to play her games, saying her mother is much more suited to it than him, but he relinquishes eventually and joins her in fighting the "invisible monster" who has come to kidnap her.

The Isley Brothers - Success at Its Best
by
Robert D Hill
The Isleys started their recording career with small labels, doing doo-wop and rock n' roll music, but in 1969 their brand of gritty sound and funk single titled "It's Your Thing" earned them their first Grammy Award. Before this, they had their taste of modest success with their singles such as "Shout", "Twist and Shout", and "This Old Heart of Mine (Is Weak for You)". They also had a short time collaborating with Jimi Hendrix as background guitar player.

American Idol - Does Gender Play A Role?
by
Cameron Van
Seems like every time I turn the radio on, Jordin Spark's Tattoo is playing. And the odd time I flip on the country music station? Carrie Underwood is asking Jesus to take the wheel or is belting out her tribute to the all American girl. But when was the last time you heard a Ruben Studdart ditty? And Taylor Hicks, the winner of year 5 was dropped by his record label.
