What would one need in order to become the most famous criminal in the entire world? A team of henchmen? Yes. An evil plot? Yes. An evil scientist sidekick? Yeah, it probably couldn't hurt. How about three adorable little orphan girls who practice ballet and love stories about kittens?

Movie Review - Despicable Me
by
Shaz Ferouz
Between guys that fly with capes with their underwear outside to British secret agents that drink martini's shaken not stirred to Chuck Norris, being a super villain isn't as glam as it would seem. The problem is the media. We always think super villains live under active volcanoes, or have a secret base on the moon. All they do all day is pet their cat and say cliché lines like "No Mr Bond I expect you to die!" or "and I would have gotten away with it too if it wasn't for you pesky kids". Watching Despicable Me however has finally opened my eyes to what a true super villain is like.

Two articles in Saturday's edition of The New York Times offer encouraging stories about our government's efforts in the War on Terror. On the first of November 1942, the Green Bay Packers' left halfback blistered the Chicago Cardinals 55-24 with a passing display that lit up City Stadium. Why Is The NHL Draft The Greatest Draft
by
Robb Dahlen
The NHL Draft is a time for hope for every fan of every team. Any pick can be the next great player for your team or the next favorite player for you or anyone in the world and could inspire some little kid to start playing the game. A team can find any kind of player in the NHL Draft. There's always great players in the first round but great players can be found in every round of the draft. Heading into the 2011 NHL Draft, the focus for the Sharks was centered around building for the future. That is exactly what the Sharks achieved without even owning a first-round pick at the end of the day.

The bottom line is every player picked by every team has a story that has brought them to this point in their lives.

NHL Draft: Despite No Notable Picks, the San Jose Sharks Still Had A Productive Draft
by
Scott Semmler
The San Jose Sharks went out on a limb on Draft Day 2011 and acquired defenseman Brent Burns from the Minnesota Wild in exchange for winger Devin Setoguchi, top forward prospect Charlie Coyle and their 28th overall draft pick. Heading into the 2011 NHL Draft, the focus for the Sharks was centered around building for the future. That is exactly what the Sharks achieved without even owning a first-round pick at the end of the day.

Nail Yakupov, 2012 1st Overall NHL Draft Pick
by
C. W. Watson
The Edmonton Oiler's brass couldn't get up to the Pittsburgh podium fast enough to select Nail Yakupov, 2012 1st overall NHL draft pick. It had been widely speculated that the Oilers were targeting defenseman, Ryan Murray of the Everett Silvertips with their 1st overall pick but in the end they just couldn't pass on the talented Russian right winger.

Capitals General Manager McPhee is Confident That His Team Will Do Well in NHL Draft
by
Judy Chaffee
Washington Capitals general manager George McPhee, in speaking of his team's 24th selection in the NHL Draft this weekend in Montreal, said, "It's going to be an even bigger challenge this year to hit one out of the park, but we're going to try to do it." This year's 24th is the latest that the team has selected in nearly a decade, but McGee said that he expects to stay with his basic tenet of going after the very best talent available to the team regardless of position.

by
S. Chard
NHL draft, instituted in 1963, is NHL prospects' only way into the league. To be an NHL prospect, one has to be discovered by NHL Scouts. An NHL scouting job is to harvest top hockey players from various hockey leagues, primarily CHL, KHL, Junior A Hockey, and NCAA Hockey. Top National Hockey League prospects don't always go straight on to a team. This article has some entry draft news and history.

Sunglasses Help Stars Fight the Bright Lights at the Oscars
by

The nominees for the 2013 Oscar awards were announced on January 10th. This event is all about the glamour of the stars at the entertainment industry's biggest party. Behind the scenes there are plenty of people making sure that the stars look their best. You can match it with the stars by wearing your designer sunglasses and making sure that if they are damaged you get them repaired instead of replacing them. Just like those environmentally conscience celebrities that know it's far better to repair than replace.
