Pearl Harbor

Pearl Harbor
Remembering Pearl Harbor
by
Benjamin Herrick
The 2,402 soldiers lost and 1,282 who were injured will truly never be forgotten. They are remembered not simply because they gave their lives for our country, but because they took part in an event that perhaps has changed the way America as a whole approaches foreign policy.

How Long Did the Pearl Harbor Battle Last?
by
Terry Weber
December 7, 1941, Pearl Harbor Day, marks the entry of the USA into World War II. I think the first attack lasted only from dawn on that Sunday until late morning that same day. However, as a matter of fact, we could say that those attacks and that battle continued for the next four years, about 1,500 days until Japan unconditionally surrendered in August of 1945 after the atomic bomb was dropped on Hiroshima, Japan.
