After a four wicket haul from Mitchell Johnson, Harbhajan Singh led an Indian revival at the end of the first Test against Australia in Bangalore. Harbhajan struck a half century as the Indian tail frustrated the Aussies, to reach the close at 313 for 8. The Effects of the Mitchell Report on Major League Baseball
by
MJ Ferruzza
The effects of the Mitchell Report may change the face of Baseball, or have fans accepted the loss of credibility for years? Spending $50 Million dollars to tell baseball fans all across the country that players are juiced, stats are inflated and that baseball has suffered is like letting your dog out after it has already soiled the carpet. True baseball fans knew all along.

Dream Jobs Do Come True
by
Ariane DeBonvoisin
Two thousand eighty hours: That's the amount of time you'll spend at your full-time job this year. But if you're like many employees-working a job you barely tolerate just to earn a buck-these 2000-plus hours may feel like an eternity.

The Violin - Electric Violins And The Loop Station
by
John Viscido
When I first started to play the violin in the early sixties, the electric violin while not actually frowned on by the purists, was an unknown quantity and as such was looked on with misgivings. As a young lad I pretty soon didn't want to play classical violin, but having seen "Curved Air" at a rock concert with their excellent electric violinist Daryl Way, I started to look for a means of electrifying my violin.

Who's the Best Olympian Ever - Michael Phelps Or Usain Bolt?
by
Karl Mitchell
As a disclaimer, this author is Jamaican-born and a naturalized U.S. citizen. I'll endeavor to be objective, what the heck, let the games begin.... As I typed this essay, Usain Bolt is yet to run the 100 M relay race. I'm sure he'll garner another gold medal unless, of course, he is struck by a bolt of lightening before he lace his golden mercurial shoes on his winged feet.

John Milton's "Paradise Lost's" Exhibit
by
Karl Mitchell
Yesterday, I attended the John Milton's Paradise Lost's exhibit (until January 14) at the Morgan Library
Museum located at Madison Ave
36th Street in Manhattan. It is highly recommended. I was first introduced to John Milton and his masterpiece by one of my favorite high school teachers - Dr. Lambert - he taught me in Honors English, and he is English born and an alumnus of Cambridge University.
