Colin Farrell
Colin Farrell - An Overview
by
L. Vegner
Colin Farrell's career in acting can be classified as a mixture of positive and negative regard from both critics and fans. As an Irish actor acting in America, he has managed to be in critically-acclaimed films, earning him several nominations from respected award giving bodies such as Golden Globe and the Oscars. However, he also became a part of films that did not only receive limited theatrical release but also limited appreciation from fans, turning these movies into big flops.

Pride and Glory - Best Police Drama Since 'Training Day'!
by
Ryan Mead
When you put Colin Farrel, Edward Norton, and Jon Voight in the same Film you know it has to be good. From the opening credits until the end this film this movie had my attention. The Characters were well developed. Edward Norton played the part of the trusting cop who throughout the entire film is trying his best to stay honorable to his country. Norton rejoins the task force under the command of his Brother, Noah Emmerich, who is the police chief. He is the first to figure out that there might be dirty cops working in the force.

Review: Total Recall (2012)
by
Jaskee Hickman
Replacing Arnold Schwarzenegger in this remake is Colin Farrell. He stars as Douglas Quaid, a factory worker who lives a simple yet frustrating life with his lovely wife Lori (Kate Beckinsale) in a small worn out apartment. In order to get away from his frustrating life, Quaid decides to visit a company called Rekall. Here, they can take any of your wildest fantasies and turn them into what feels like reality. But there is a catch for anyone who gets linked up to this machine. There's the potential for permanent damage and you might end up confusing reality with fantasy in the process.

Movie Review: Total Recall (2012)
by
Joel Massie
Despite borrowing ideas from its science-fiction predecessors, Total Recall manages to create a uniquely vivid and intriguing dystopian vision. Interesting concepts abound, from synthetic police androids to "gravity reversal" elevators, and the futuristic settings are expansive and gorgeously detailed. But for a world so heavily populated, it's surprisingly difficult to find engaging inhabitants.

The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus
by
Simon Arseneau
First of all, is should be acknowledged that Terry Gilliam had a stroke of genius when he cast Tom Waits as the devil in The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus. Gilliam has described Waits as a man who "sings about the angels with the voice of Bellezebuth." That can't be disputed. When the devil, or Mr. Nick as he is later referred to, asks a monk played by Christopher Plummer if he is a betting man, even a gambling addict from Las Vegas would tell the monk to stay away.

Taking Advantage Of The 10 GBP Tickets
by
Barrie Le Gall
The habit of theatre For the last few weeks I've been lucky enough to enjoy a weekly theatre trip, often taking advantage of the 10 GBP ticket, a brilliant offering, often more brilliant than the plays themselves. Don't get me wrong, I'm a big fan of theatre and am a firm believer in the 'live' act, be it comedy, music or theatre.

Michael Mann - The Mann With the Lens
by
Prem Shashi
Flying debris, Dead people free falling, flash of guns, the smooth speed of cars and the landscape of a city. These are some of the trademarks of Michael Mann executed with a freshness every time he brings a film to screen. There are a lot of critics who have labeled him a little too excess. But this is what defines Mann a man who takes beaten down subjects and shoots it with style.
