Bad Santa
Bad Santa Film Review
by
Kevin Dillehay
Every Christmas season, Willie Stokes and his partner Marcus get jobs as Santa and his little elf, respectively. This gives them access to a large department store which they plan to rob on Christmas Eve. Then, they live off of what they've stolen for the entire year until Christmas comes around again, at which time they do it again.

Santa Claus Hit by Aircraft While Pilot Was Text Messaging - No Christmas This Year
by
Lance Winslow
There will be no Christmas this year, so please tell your children, unfortunately, Santa's Sleigh and rain deer were taken out during a routine training mission the other day over New York City. Unfortunately, I am sad to say, there was a Mid-Air Collision with an Airliner full of passengers on their way to Upstate to get flu shots because they ran out in the city. The aircraft took off from La Guardia and climbed to approximately 4,200 feet AGL (above ground level) according to the NTSB (National Transportation Safety Board) where it struck Santa Claus.

Writing and Receiving Letters From Santa Claus
by
S. Roberts
Writing letters to Santa Claus has been a Christmas tradition for children for many years. These letters normally contain wish lists of toys and assertions of good behaviour. Writing letters to Santa is something that you probably did as a child and can now teach your own children this happy festive tradition as well.

Santa Claus - The Guy With the Big Belly!
by
Keith Sinclair
Across time and around the world Father Christmas plies his trade of making people happy through the giving of gifts during the Christmas period. Traditionally Father Christmas or Santa Claus or Saint Nicholas or Saint Nick or Santa or Pierre Noel and he has lots more names, is depicted as a kind, portly and happy bespectacled old man dressed in a luxurious deep red coat or suit which itself is richly trimmed in white fur. His face matches this appearance in that he is shown with a jolly smile behind bushy white beard and mustache which match fully his bushy white eyebrows. His eyes, partially hidden behind either round or oblong shaped glasses always have a twinkle and transfix you with an inner happiness.

What About Santa Claus?
by
Darlene Glasgow
A large part of the Christmas season centers around the tradition of "Santa Claus". However, many question whether or not Christians should take part in this tradition. As Christians, we believe that Christmas is meant as a celebration of the birth of Christ and as a reminder that Christ was a gift from God to all who will accept Him.

What's Christmas really all about, yes you have got it in one, "kids." I know us grownups like to party as well but hey come on, you know and I know Christmas would not be the same without watching the kids claw at the Christmas paper wrapped round their toys.

Explaining Santa and the Naughty or Nice Manipulation
by
Melanie Hubbard
Some adults love the magic of Santa Claus or Father Christmas but don't like lying to their kids as they start asking if he is really truly real. When my older son Luc (6) got to questioning the reality of Santa and the Easter Bunny, I offered an answer that I truly believe in myself - that these beloved bringers of lovely things ARE real in the same way that angels are. When many people believe in something, it is created as a thought entity and gains strength with the more thought and energy put into it. Santa and the Easter Bunny get a lot of creative thought energy from our powerful children and their relatively pure and magical intentions. Thus, I believe and can feel that there are light energetic entities we know as Santa and the Easter Bunny.
