by
Lance Winslow
Apparently the US State Department has made a huge breakthrough with North Korea, as Kim Jong Il, the debonair dictator and superstar has made a calculated negotiation deal. It seems he has negotiated an awesome deal for his country in trade for giving up the Nuclear Weapons trade.

North Korea Un-Curtains the Next Kim: Kim Jong-Un
by
Abdullah Mahmood
Korea was split into two parts at the end of World War II with the Soviet Union placing leadership in the North and the Americans placing their leadership in South Korea. The leader of North Korea Kim II Sung launched and invasion with his Soviet equipped army to unify the peninsula under his rule but he failed to succeed. United Nations helped the South Koreans to counter attack into North Korea and from that onwards the Korean peninsula has remained divided to this very day.

Dennis Rodman, Kim Jong Un and a Yacht
by
James Oleander
During Dennis Rodman's most recent trip to North Korea, he reported that Kim Jong Un has a 200-foot long super yacht that Rodman spent some time on. Though it's clear that very few people have much of an idea of what goes on in North Korea or what exactly Kim Jong Un is spending money on, it does also seem clear that Dennis Rodman is now in the favor of Kim Jong Un.

North Korea: Little Prospect for a Diplomatic Breakthough Through the Medium-Term
by
Don Sutherland
North Korea views Kim Jong-il's "immortal" contribution as his "Songun" principle. Songun entails a powerful army-centered state. Nuclear weapons are at the heart of such a state. As a result, diplomatic breakthroughs with respect to North Korea's nuclear arsenal and advancing missile delivery systems are not likely at least through the medium-term.
