Did Helen Keller Demonstrate Paranormal Abilities Similar to Some Individuals With Severe Autism?
by
Mary Ann Harrington
Helen had typical sensory experiences until she was 18 months old. At that point, she was struck with fever. Age of onset correlates to the many reports of parents who say that their autistic children were developing normally and then suddenly regressed.

Pac-10 Season Preview - Oregon
by
Lenny Del Genio
For the fourth week of the Pac-10 preview, we've got the Oregon Ducks, who improved to 3-0 last week with a win over the University of Oklahoma. Now, some might say the Ducks didn't deserve to win that game. I might fall into that camp. But whatever happens, happens, and if the officials blow a call, you have to deal with it. And in Oregon's case, when they blow a call in your favor, hey, are you really going to argue?

The Jets were a major player in last weekends draft by moving up to the 5th spot via the Cleveland Browns and former coach Eric Mangini in order to select their QB of the future Mark Sanchez.

Mark Sanchez - NFL Rookie Or Jets Savior?
by
John R. Olson
In the 2008 season, Mark Sanchez stepped up into the role as the dominant college quarterback people have come to expect out of Southern Cal. He began the season strong as he torched a supposedly dominant Ohio State team in week 2 for 4 touchdowns.

Pac-10 Conference
by
Garth Belkin
Southern California, the all everything team with amazing speed and an abundance of depth in all the positions is the number one team in the nation. Only one team, on October 1, 2005 has a chance to upset the Trojans. That one team is Arizona State and that is a long shot.

Week Five in the Pac-10
by
Lenny Del Genio
Heading into Week Five of the conference schedule, the UCLA Bruins and USC Trojans are tied atop the heap. I've seen a lot of Pac-10 games in my time, and I couldn't have predicted that the Bruins would be there. The Trojans, yes; that was expected. But the Bruins have exceeded my expectations in the first half of the conference season.

NFL 2006: New York Jets
by
Brian Carson
The New York Jets are hoping to bounce back from a dismal 4-12 campaign that saw Herm Edwards pack up and leave for what he believes are greener pastures in Kansas City. New coach Eric Mangini brings the system he learnt under Bill Belichick in New England to New York with the hopes of revitalizing a sagging franchise.
